ABOUT COURSE

This course is designed to help students learn the Holy Qur’an in a clear, structured, and supportive way. Students will learn how to recite the Qur’an correctly according to the rules of Tajweed, ensuring that every letter is pronounced from its proper articulation point with its correct characteristics (Makharij and Sifaat). The program also includes a step-by-step memorization plan based on each student’s ability, with regular revision to strengthen memorization and long-term retention. Students will gradually build fluency and confidence in reading the Qur’an directly from the Mushaf while improving the natural flow of recitation. In addition, the course introduces the general meanings of the verses in an age-appropriate way, helping students deepen their understanding and strengthen their connection with the words of Allah.

Quran reading for beginners

A beginner-friendly track that starts with Arabic letters and harakat, then gradually helps students read the Qur’an from the Mushaf with confidence.

LEVEL SYSTEM

Level 1 — Foundations of Recitation

Students begin by learning Arabic letters and basic reading skills needed to start reciting the Qur’an. By the end of this level, learners can read simple Qur’anic words correctly and with confidence.

Level 2 — Fluency Building

Level 3 — Tajweed Essentials

Level 4 — Understanding & Reflection

Students practice short Surahs while learning key reading elements such as Shaddah, Tanween, and basic Madd rules, helping them develop smoother and more confident Qur’an reading.

This level introduces essential Tajweed rules including Noon and Meem rules, along with Makharij basics and correction of common mistakes to improve accuracy in recitation.

Students are introduced to basic Qur’anic vocabulary and the general meanings of selected Surahs, helping them connect their recitation with understanding and reflection.
